USATestprep and the North Carolina High School EOC

Since 2006, all students in North Carolina have been required to take the North Carolina High School EOC. The content of these tests is determined by the Standard Courses of Study and the Test Information Sheets. The North Carolina High School EOC is designed to measure student performance of the competency goals and objectives in the Standard Courses of Study. Performance on the North Carolina High School EOC determines student's advancement and/or graduation, as well as school's AYP status, as determined by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
